Elizabeth I was a protestant in the Anglican church. She said,” There is one Jesus Christ, the rest is a dispute over trifles.” The Anglican church, is the church of England. It is similar to Catholicism. Protestantism is similar to Catholicism. This religion originated in Germany. It is a religion that is sort of a protest against some of the catholic church’s practices and beliefs.
Elizabeth I was born in Greenwich Palace in 1533. She stayed in England pretty much her whole life. She protected England from Mary Stewart and the Scots, and stopped Phillip II of Spain from taking over England. If this didn't happen, England would be an entirely different country today.
